GIS mapping

Improving forestry through technical innovation

We’re using the latest digital technology to help create value for forest production. Geographic information system or GIS mapping, is used to view, edit, manage, and analyse geographic data. The software can produce paper or interactive online maps and dashboards so that we have accurate visuals and reports at our fingertips.

The maps inform every facet of our operation, and good mapping can save forest owners money over each forest rotation. GIS mapping is also used for insurance claims and boundary validation.
